Basic principle of the wet blasting is to add a small quantity of water along with the grit being used. Generally, the ratio is 80 % grit and 20 % water. The main advantage of this process is that the air pollution is restricted. Any mineral abrasive such as coal slag, copper slag, sand and garnet can be used. The productivity is also increased by 20-25% compared to dry blasting.

Both 3000 and ML Seres can be used for surface preparation of vertical, horizontal and inclined surfaces with ultra high-pressure water up to 3000 bar.

The unit attaches to the surface by vacuum and is either driven by pneumatic motor or is designed for deployment by man lifts, dock arms, suspended access platforms and construction vehicles. The vacuum also retrieves the waste water and removed solids thus ensuring Clean In Place (CIP) working area.
