DFG 250 FLOOR GRINDER

Product Description

The DFG 250 is available in 3 phase electric or petrol engine powered versions and is ideally suited for the grinding of most types of concrete floors. The machine has a dust extraction port for dust free operation when used in conjunction with SPE vacuums. The rear wheels are mounted on a pivoting axle which allows the weight and balance of the machine to be altered according to the job specification and requirements. To aid operator comfort the handle bars are mounted on rubber vibration damped clamps. The machine also has a facility for the application of water at the head when wet grinding is required.

A successful diamond grinder must give the operator complete control and at the same time have enough weight to act directly onto the grinding heads to facilitate accurate and rapid grinding.

DFG 200 FLOOR GRINDER

The DFG 200 has been developed as an introductory model to the SPE DFG Floor Grinder range of products.

Available in 110v and 230v single phase electric models, the DFG 200 is simple to operate and meets the requirements of rental companies and flooring contractors alike. The operator handle height is fully adjustable and the machine easily fits into the boot of a car.

Compact and powerful, the machine can be fitted with a wide range of diamond, polymer and PCD attachments making a very versatile grinding solution for smaller surface preparation projects.

DFG 400 FLOOR GRINDER

Product Description

The equipment is easy to use meeting the requirement of rental companies and contractors. Twin grinding heads driven by heavy duty gearboxes ensure high productivity and reliability. An adjustable dust extraction skirt provides dust free operation when used in conjunction with the SPE vacuums. The operators handle is fully height adjustable. The DFG 400 is supplied fitted with 2 no. standard drive plates allowing the floor grinder to be used with carborundum blocks, wire brush blocks and diamond blocks all held in by wedges. For specialist applications an adaptor plate is available to allow the fitting of various DFG 250mm diameter diamond grinding plates.

DFG 460 FLOOR GRINDER

Product Description

The DFG460 has all the benefits of the popular single and twin head DFG machine but also allows the operator to grind medium to large areas to a fine finish eliminating swirl marks that can be left by conventional grinding methods. A direct drive system, coupled with heavy duty gearbox ensures maximum torque being available at the grinding heads. The DFG 460 machine comes in 110V, 230V single phase and 400 or 460V 3-phase single speed versions for general grinding tasks, and also 230V single phase and 318~415V 3-phase variants for more precise grinding and polishing.

The unique design of the DFG 500 floor grinding machine has two ballast weights that can be removed, together with precise adjustment of the fulcrum for the rear wheel allows for perfect grinding in all types of situations. Noise is kept to minimum by use of high power 3 phase electric motors and drive belt systems

The DFG 500 is manufactured to a high specification and operates using two grinding heads. A hydraulic raise and lower facility is easily operated by push button switches mounted on the handle bars. The net weight is in excess of 300kg but one operator can easily control the machine

Twin Speed Option The DFG 500 is also produced in a twin speed version giving operation speeds of 700 and 1400 r.p.m. The slower speed being designed and introduced for the grinding of terrazzo floor and marble applications when using the SPE polymer diamond system. Optional higher rpm head speeds are available upon request.

The Main drive plate is driven through a heavy gearbox and each grinding tool is then turned independently at an increased RPM. The DFG700 has a variable speed control devise to suit various applications. Environmental considerations are fully controlled with an adjustable dust extraction skirt for dry use and a facility for using water when wet grinding. A major advantage of the DFG700 is the option of a 3-phase electric motor or gasoline/diesel powered engines. This gives a unique versatility for outdoor use or when electrical power may not be available.
