COAL SLAG ALUMINIUM SILICATE

Description:


Coal slag is an aluminium silicate blast cleaning grit made of coal slag from coal fired power stations.


Applications:


Blastcleaning of steel and stone/concrete surfaces, removal of mill scale, rust, old paint, dirt etc. Suitable for SA-3, SA-2112 and SA-2, as well as sweep blasting.

  • Type A1 0,2 – 0,6 mm
  • Type A2 0,2 -1,0 mm
  • Type A3 0,2 – l,4 mm
  • Type AB 0,2- 2,2 mm
  • Type X 0,5 – 1 ,6 mm
  • Type B1 1,2 – 2,2 mm
  • Type B2 0,8 – 2,2 mm
  • Type B3 0,5 – 2,2 mm
  • Type BC 0,8 – 3,0 mm

  • SiO2 : 45 -52 % in bound form,< 1%. free silica
  • AliOJ: 24- 31 %

  • MgO: 2- 3 %

  • Nc12O : 0-1 %

  • Shape. : Sharp and angular
  • Colour: brown/black
  • Hardnes : 7 Mohs
  • Specific density : 2.4-2.6 kgs/dm3
  • Loose bulk density: 1.3-1.4 kgs/dm3
  • Water Soluble Chlorides: < 10 ppm
  • Conductivity: < 15 mS/m

Packing: :

3-ply/ 6-ply paper bags, 50 kgs content, on shrinkfoiled export pallets.
